Fundraise for WarriorWOD
Turn your gym, your run, or your community into a Veteran’s comeback.
A WarriorWOD fundraiser for veterans pays for six months of exercise, nutrition coaching, and peer mentorship for veterans facing PTSD, suicidal ideation, and substance misuse. Every $1,500 you raise funds one veteran’s full program. They served. You serve them back.
Why You Fundraise
“My unit lost three brothers in 18 months. Running this race is the only way I know how to keep saying their names.”
Warrior alum, Class 0324
Every Warrior in the program has someone who refused to let them fight alone. When you host a fundraiser, that person is you. The program runs on veterans helping veterans: each Warrior trains alongside a Battle Buddy who finished the same six months.
Independently verified by the College of Charleston: PCL-5 scores fell from 43.37 to 28.95 (p<.001, Cohen’s d=1.33, n=21 matched pairs). Peer review pending. See the veteran PTSD recovery program research.

You bring the people. Classy handles payments and tax receipts. We handle the impact report.
Your Fundraising Math
$1,500 funds one veteran’s full six-month recovery: a Preferred Partner Gym membership, nutrition coaching, InBody assessments, programming, and a Battle Buddy. Veterans pay nothing. Tell your donors how many Warriors you are raising for, and update them as you hit each one.
Monthly gifts let us plan each Warrior Class ahead and enroll more veterans. Six donors giving $22 a month fund one veteran’s complete recovery every year. On your Classy page, point donors to the monthly option and invite them to Join the Mission as Warrior Supporters.
$7,500 raised. $1,500 more funds Warrior #6.
S.A.V.E. · For Every Host and Coach
A fundraiser brings veterans and their families into one place. If someone signals crisis, every host and coach should know the VA’s S.A.V.E. model.
Sudden withdrawal, giving away gear, “I won’t be around much longer,” missed weeks after a hard event.
“Are you thinking about killing yourself?” Asking directly does not plant the idea. It opens the door.
“That is a heavy load. I’m glad you told me.” Don’t argue, minimize, or jump to advice.
Stay with them. Dial 988, then Press 1, together. If risk is immediate, call 911.
Before You Start
No. There is no minimum to start. We suggest a goal of $1,500, which funds one veteran’s full six-month recovery program. Gym teams often set $1,500 as the team goal and add a Warrior for every $1,500 after that.
You sign up on our Classy campaign as a team or an individual, and Classy builds your fundraising page. You share the link. Donors give on that page, Classy processes the payment and emails the receipt, and the funds go directly to WarriorWOD Foundation. You never handle cash.
Yes. Join the Donation WOD campaign as a team and your gym gets a team page with a running total. Members join with one link, and each gets a personal fundraising page that counts toward the team goal.
Request a Warrior 5K with your date and location. We build a ticketed Classy event page, so runners register, pay, and donate in one place. You handle the course and local permits. Every $1,500 your runners raise funds one veteran’s recovery.
They are ticketed events. When you request one, we build a Classy event page with ticketing and donations together, so participants buy a spot and fundraise in the same place. Donation WOD needs no ticketing, so you can join that campaign today.
We recommend six weeks: about four weeks of sharing before event day, the event itself, and a final push after. Keep your Classy page open for a week after the event so late gifts still count toward your total.
Ask for both, and lead with monthly. Six donors giving $22 a month fund one veteran’s complete recovery every year, and monthly support lets us plan each Warrior Class ahead. Point donors to the monthly option on your Classy page.
Yes. Classy emails a receipt for every gift. WarriorWOD Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit for veterans (EIN 87-1065126), so gifts are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
It pays for the six-month program: a Preferred Partner Gym membership, nutrition coaching, InBody assessments, programming, and Battle Buddy mentorship. $1,500 covers one veteran. Veterans pay nothing. Read about the six-month veteran PTSD program.
