YOUR DONATION, THEIR SALVATION

Veterans are heroes who’ve bravely served our nation. Yet, upon returning home, many face battles of a different kind—battles with invisible wounds like Post-Traumatic Stress, substance abuse, and the threat of suicide. WarriorWOD stands in the gap for these heroes, offering them a lifeline back to strength, health, and community.

BE A HERO FOR OUR HEROES

You can make a lasting impact through a monthly donation. For as little as $20 – $0.63 a day – you’ll help veterans access critical resources in the fight against PTS symptoms and suicidal ideations.

Here’s what real WarriorWOD Members Have to Say

– James M., Orlando, FL US Army

Like so many veterans, I’ve faced the invisible wounds of Post-Traumatic Stress (PTS) and the weight of suicidal thoughts. Even though I worked at the VA and knew about the programs out there, I couldn’t find the support I needed. By November 2022, I was in a very dark place—isolated, hopeless, and struggling to find a reason to keep going.

On Christmas morning that year, while my wife and toddler daughter opened presents in the next room, I sat alone in my bedroom with a pistol in my lap. I was ready to end my life. The thought of my daughter growing up without a father was unbearable, but at that moment, I couldn’t find a reason to stay. That image still haunts me—a quiet morning that could have shattered my family forever.

Nine days later, everything changed. On January 3, 2023, I joined WarriorWOD. From that moment on, my life began to shift. Through their focus on exercise, nutrition, and mentorship, I found something I hadn’t felt in a long time— hope. WarriorWOD didn’t just help me get physically stronger; they gave me a community of people who truly understood what I was going through. I discovered joy and purpose again.

WarriorWOD saved my life. They saved my daughter’s father and my wife’s partner. They gave me back a future I had almost given up on.

Six months later, in June 2023, I completed WarriorWOD’s program. But my journey didn’t stop there. I became a mentor in the WarriorWOD community, helping other veterans navigate their own battles. It’s been one of the most meaningful things I’ve ever done—to use my story to inspire hope in others.

I’m not alone in this experience.  I’ve seen the ripple effect firsthand—how this program creates healing, builds purpose, and gives veterans the tools they need to live again. It’s not just about saving lives—it’s about transforming them.

But there are so many others who are still fighting in silence, just like I was. Please support WarriorWOD; you’re not just supporting a cause—you’re saving lives and helping veterans like me rediscover joy and purpose.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for allowing me to be a part of WarriorWOD.

– Rich Trinkwalder, Braselton, GA, US Navy

After my military service, I became a law enforcement officer, a career that, over time, worsened my PTSD due to constant exposure to violence and trauma. Eventually, I knew I had to make a change—for myself and my family. But leaving law enforcement left me feeling lost, disconnected from the brotherhood I had known. I tried going to the gym, but without guidance or motivation, I was just going through the motions. My health deteriorated, and I accepted that this was my fate.”

One day, while browsing the internet, I stumbled upon WarriorWOD. The concept of ‘Exercise as an RX’ resonated with me. I hated relying on prescriptions and desperately wanted to find a way to manage my PTSD naturally. I applied and was fortunate enough to be selected for the program. Kyle, my WarriorWOD Nutrition Coach, suggested I try CrossFit, emphasizing the sense of community and structured workouts it offers. After visiting several gyms, I finally found my place at CrossFit Faded Glory. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was different—the community was welcoming, and I felt like I belonged.

Now, I attend CrossFit Faded Glory multiple times a week. Although the workouts are challenging, and I’m still working on my fitness, I feel better than I have in years. My Battle Buddy, Alan Fredendall, and I text frequently, sharing our workout experiences and supporting each other. My mental clarity, mood, and overall outlook on life have improved significantly. I’m sleeping better, my health is improving, and I finally see a future where exercise, not prescriptions, is my path to well-being. I’m incredibly grateful to WarriorWOD for showing me the way. Thank you.

Seeing our Veteran community struggle with alarmingly high percentages of suicide, PTS, and other physical combat-related injuries is insurmountably tough; we want to help, but the question often comes, “What is the best way to offer assistance to those in need?” WarriorWOD is that organization. I am proud to be a part of the WarriorWOD community and continue to serve and fight now that the uniform is off.
