# Corporate Giving Programs That Fund Measured Veteran PTSD Recovery

WarriorWOD's corporate giving programs fund a six-month veteran PTSD recovery program that measures every veteran, every month. Your company's gift pays for exercise, nutrition coaching, and a peer mentor who has been there. As a result, you see what changed on the same PTSD and suicide-risk scales the VA and DoD use.

The problem

## Why Corporate Giving Programs Should Fund Measured Outcomes

> 18.2M US military veterans nationwide. The 2023 veteran suicide rate of 35.2 per 100,000 is 93.4% higher than the non-veteran adult rate of 18.2 per 100,000. Veterans are nearly twice as likely as their civilian peers to die by suicide.Source: [VA National Veteran Suicide Prevention Annual Report](https://www.mentalhealth.va.gov/suicide_prevention/data.asp)

Untreated PTSD sits underneath much of that risk. Yet most veteran programs run for a few weeks, address one piece of the problem, and never measure what changed afterward.

WarriorWOD works the other way. Every veteran is scored on the [PCL-5 (PTSD Checklist for DSM-5)](https://www.ptsd.va.gov/professional/assessment/adult-sr/ptsd-checklist.asp) and the C-SSRS suicide-risk scale at intake and every month for 26 weeks. For that reason, your company can report the result of its gift in the same terms a clinician would use.

Ways to give

## Six Ways to Build Your Corporate Giving Program

Pick the path that fits your budget cycle, your workforce, and how visible you want the partnership to be. Paths can be combined.

01

### Sponsor a Warrior Class

Fund a cohort's full six months, from shared start to graduation. Tiers start at $10,000, which funds 7 veterans' complete recovery.

[See sponsorship tiers](#tiers) 02

### Employee Matching Gifts

Double what your people already give. Add WarriorWOD Foundation to your matching gift platform using EIN 87-1065126.

[How matching works](#matching) 03

### Corporate Events and Donation WOD

Host a Donation WOD for your team at your office or a partner gym. Your employees train together and raise funds for a Warrior Class.

04

### In-Kind Contributions

Gym access, nutrition products, equipment, or professional services. Each one lowers the cost of a veteran's recovery and lets donor dollars go further.

05

### Retail Round-Up

Invite customers to round up at checkout. Their spare change, pooled at $1,500 a veteran, funds full six-month recoveries.

06

### Corporate Foundation Grants

If your company gives through a foundation, we supply the outcome data, itemized budget, and Form 990 your grants committee will ask for.

Warrior Class sponsorship

## Sponsorship Tiers, Counted in Veterans

Each tier funds a set number of complete six-month recoveries. Recognition, co-branding, and reporting terms are agreed in writing with each sponsor before the gift is made.

Matching gifts

## Employee Matching Gifts for Veteran PTSD Recovery

Many employers match employee donations, but the match only happens when someone files the request. A $750 gift, matched one-to-one, funds one veteran's full recovery. Employees can use the [employee matching gifts guide](/give/matching-gifts/) to file their request.

Search your matching portal for WarriorWOD Foundation EIN 87-1065126
