# Sponsor a Warrior Class. Fund PTSD recovery you can measure.

A Warrior Class sponsor funds a group of US military veterans through WarriorWOD's six-month PTSD recovery program: training at a Preferred Partner Gym near home, nutrition coaching, and weekly contact with a Battle Buddy who completed the program. The class runs remotely. Veterans in 38+ states have graduated together.

An independent evaluation by the [College of Charleston](https://cofc.edu) found a 14.42-point PCL-5 reduction among completers (p\<.001, Cohen's d=1.33). The study was not subject to WarriorWOD review before release.

## One of the five

"I did fourteen months in Kandahar with the 4th ID. When I got out I moved back to a town of 3,000 in eastern Tennessee. The nearest VA is two hours away. I told myself the distance was the problem."

"I applied because a guy from my old unit graduated and would not stop texting me about it. I figured it would be a Zoom class and a pamphlet. They set me up at a gym eleven miles from my house. Donnie called on a Tuesday night and asked what I actually ate that day. Not what I should eat. What I ate. My Battle Buddy lives in Texas. He texted 0530 every morning. Not 'how are you feeling.' Just 'up.'"

"Month four I filled out the monthly questions and my own answers had moved. Nobody told me. The numbers said it first."

"I sleep six hours now. I coach my son's rec league, and I have not missed a Saturday since March."

Daniel R. · U.S. Army, OEF · Warrior Class graduate

A Warrior Class sponsorship funds veterans like Daniel wherever they live. Most of the program happens at a partner gym near the veteran's home, on the phone with a nutrition coach, and in daily text contact with a Battle Buddy.

▸ How a Warrior Class runs

## One start date. One graduation. Partner gyms in 38+ states in between.

The Warrior Class is built on military structure. Every veteran in the class starts the same week and graduates the same week. Almost nothing else requires them to be in the same room.

### Train near home

A membership at a Preferred Partner Gym in the veteran's own town. Structured strength and conditioning programmed by WarriorWOD coaches.

### Nutrition coaching by phone

24 sessions over six months with a Precision Nutrition certified coach. Monthly InBody assessments track body composition.

### A Battle Buddy, daily

A veteran who completed the program, VA S.A.V.E. certified, in weekly scheduled contact and daily text contact. Same branch when possible.

### Measured every month

PCL-5 and C-SSRS at intake and monthly through week 26. Escalation to licensed clinical care when scores require it.

▸ Sponsorship tiers

## Sponsor veteran PTSD recovery by the class

Every tier is priced at $1,500 per veteran. Pick the number of veterans you want to put through the program. Every sponsor signs a short MOU, receives a tax receipt, and gets a de-identified outcome report when the class graduates.

▸ Sponsor questions

## What sponsors ask before they sign

Is the College of Charleston study independent?

Yes. Dr. Katie Trejo Tello ran it under grant SCTR CES-P UM1TR005294, not WarriorWOD funding, and WarriorWOD did not review the findings before release. Peer review is pending, so we describe it as independently verified, not published.

Do the veterans in my class need to be near Charleston?

No. The class starts and graduates together, but each veteran trains at a Preferred Partner Gym near home, works with a nutrition coach by phone, and stays in daily contact with a Battle Buddy. Twelve Warrior Classes have run this way across 38+ states.

What does the outcome report include?

Aggregate PCL-5 change for the class from intake to week 26, completion count, and cluster-level results across avoidance, hyperarousal, negative cognition, and intrusive re-experiencing. No individual veteran is identified.

Can a sponsorship be paid over time?

Yes. Pledges can be paid monthly over twelve months, or on a custom schedule set in the sponsorship agreement. Recognition begins when the class starts.

Can an individual sponsor a class, not just a company?

Yes. Tiers and recognition are the same. Naming rights at Platinum can honor a person or a unit instead of a company.

## They served. You serve them back.

Somewhere a veteran is sleeping four hours a night and telling his family it is the drive. The next Warrior Class starts when it is funded. Pay for his seat.
